Discover the rich history, pastoral heart, and deep theological convictions that shape Eglise Baptiste des Chandeliers D’Or as we serve together.
Golden Lamp Baptist Church was founded with a clear, divine purpose: to be a beacon of Christian hope for the French and Creole-speaking community while building bridges across diverse cultures. Over the past three decades, we have evolved from a small home-gathering of faithful believers into a thriving sanctuary family.
Our dual heritage represents both the deep spiritual legacy of Baptist theology and a passionate, warm-hearted expression of communal worship. We celebrate God’s word with rigor, sing praises with joy, and extend mutual support to families navigating modern life.
We believe the Holy Scriptures to be inspired, infallible, and the ultimate roadmap for our daily living, spiritual discipleship, and communal governance.
We celebrate our heritage in both French and English, ensuring our services, fellowship, and discipleship embrace culture while unifying in Christ’s love.
Discipleship is not a program; it is our life-long pursuit. We are committed to constant, fervent prayer, supporting each other through spiritual development.
Christ served first, and so must we. Through tithing, food distribution, and community health services, we extend active hands into our surrounding streets.
